Cookies

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Only two things: our own cookie that remembers your language, and the Google map that loads if you allow it.

In short

  • No tracking or advertising cookies; your visit is not measured.
  • The only cookie the site sets remembers your language.
  • The Google map loads only if you allow it — refuse, and it never runs.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website leaves in your browser. It lets the site remember you on your next visit — your language choice, for instance. Some sites also use cookies to follow your browsing and show advertising; nothing of that kind happens here.

What this site uses

The list below is complete. No cookie other than these is created on this site.

NEXT_LOCALEOur own cookie
Remembers the language you chose, so you do not have to pick it again on every visit.
Stored in your browser · a technical cookie that needs no consent
Google MapsThird party
The map on the contact page belongs to Google. It loads only when you allow it or press "Show the map", and Google sets its own cookies at that moment.
Lifetime set by Google · never loads without permission

What is not used

This site carries no advertising pixel, no social media tracker and no cookie used for profiling. Visitor numbers are measured by a cookieless tool that counts page views rather than people. Even your answer to the cookie notice is kept in your browser's own storage rather than in a cookie, and is never sent to us.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser, rather than through this site:

  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

If you block all cookies this site still works; only your language preference is forgotten, so you will choose it again on each visit.

Change your choice

You can take back your answer at any time. The button below deletes the record and brings the cookie notice back.

Changes

If the site ever starts using a new cookie, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Where new consent is required, the notice is shown again.
